Freelance - Security Trainer



We are seeking a highly skilled Freelance Security Trainer to develop and deliver training programs focused on security practices and protocols. The Freelance Security Trainer will be responsible for creating engaging training materials, conducting interactive training sessions, and providing support to participants. The ideal candidate will have expertise in various aspects of security, including physical security, cybersecurity, emergency response, and risk management, as well as experience in adult education and training delivery.




Curriculum Development:

  •         Develop comprehensive training curriculum covering various aspects of security, including physical security measures, cybersecurity best practices, emergency response procedures, crisis management, and risk assessment.

  •         Create engaging training materials, including presentations, videos, simulations, case studies, and practical exercises, to support learning objectives.


Training Delivery:

  •         Facilitate interactive training sessions, workshops, and seminars on security topics for diverse audiences, including security personnel, employees, managers, and executives.

  •         Utilize a variety of instructional techniques and delivery methods, such as lectures, group discussions, tabletop exercises, role-plays, and scenario-based simulations, to enhance learning outcomes.


Security Awareness Programs:

  •         Develop and deliver security awareness programs to educate employees and stakeholders about security threats, vulnerabilities, and best practices for mitigating risks.

  •         Promote a culture of security awareness and vigilance among participants, emphasizing the importance of individual and collective responsibility for security.


Incident Response Training:

  •        Provide training on incident response procedures, including how to recognize and respond to security incidents, breaches, and emergencies effectively.

  •         Conduct drills and simulations to test participants' readiness to handle various security scenarios and assess their performance under pressure.


Regulatory Compliance:

  •         Ensure that training programs comply with relevant security regulations, standards, guidelines, and industry-specific requirements.

  •         Stay updated on changes in security regulations, emerging threats, and evolving best practices, and incorporate new information into training materials and delivery.


Assessment and Feedback:

  •         Assess participant learning outcomes through quizzes, assessments, practical exercises, and performance evaluations, providing constructive feedback and guidance for improvement.

  •         Monitor participant progress and adjust training content and delivery as needed to ensure learning objectives are achieved.


Continuous Improvement:

  •         Stay abreast of the latest trends, developments, and innovations in security technologies, tools, and methodologies, incorporating new insights into training programs.

  •         Solicit feedback from participants and stakeholders to continuously improve training content, delivery methods, and overall effectiveness.



  •         Proven expertise in security practices, protocols, and technologies, with comprehensive knowledge of physical security, cybersecurity, risk management, and emergency response.

  •         Strong background in adult education, instructional design, or training delivery, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences.

  •         Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate participants in learning activities.

  •         Experience developing and delivering security training programs in corporate, industrial, or organizational settings, preferably with a focus on security awareness and incident response.

  •         Proficiency in creating training materials using multimedia tools, e-learning platforms, and interactive technologies.

  •         Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt training content and delivery to meet the needs of different audiences and learning environments.

  •         Self-motivated and able to work independently, with excellent time management and organizational skills.

  •         Flexibility to accommodate varying schedules and deliver training sessions on-site or remotely as needed.



  •         Bachelor’s degree or higher in security management, criminal justice, information security, or a related field.

  •         Additional certifications or training in security, adult education, or training delivery is mandatory.



  •         Inspire Management Training Centre, with occasional travel for on-site training sessions as required.


Note: This is a freelance position with flexible hours and project-based assignments. Compensation will be based on experience and scope of work.
